DESCRIPTION:The trio will play a repertoire of french songs with a focus on singers who emigrated to France and international melodies sung in French \nQuentin Bardinet: Mandoline\, Gesang\nCatherine Jabbour: Gesang\nLaico Ruiz-Domínguez: Gitarre\, Gesang \nCatherine Jabbour is a French singer musically trained in Argentina\, where she lived for eleven years\, studying classical singing while immersing herself in the tango tradition. Her repertoire and vocal approach are rooted in the traditions of French chanson and tango from the mid-twentieth century\, particularly the 1930s through the 1960s\, with an intimate style of interpretation.” \nLaico Ruiz-Domínguez is a guitarist and singer based in Berlin\, he has dedicated his musical career to tango and Latin American music. His playing combines the rhythmic and harmonic richness of these traditions with a strong jazz influence. \nQuentin Bardi\, born and raised in the south of France\, settled in Berlin after many years of travelling and playing music around the globe. He is specialized in popular music of the early 20th century\, with a focus on Early Jazz\, French Caribbean Music and Italian Folk Music.
