Folk mit Oud: Eleni Mik & Guy Osborn / Pascal Colman

Eleni verbrachte ihre prägenden Jahre als klassische Pianistin in den Niederlanden, aber in den letzten Jahren hat sie ihre griechischen Wurzeln durch die Oud wiederentdeckt.

Guy spielt seit etwa 15/20 Jahren eine Mischung aus eigener Musik und traditionellem Folk.

Eleni spent her formative years playing the classical piano in the Netherlands, but in the last few years has been rediscovering her Greek roots through the oud.

Guy has been playing a mixture of original singer-songwriter stuff and traditional folk for about the past 15/20 years.

Pascal Colman:

Pascal was practising as an improviser in London’s experimental music world. His activity with this has involved tours, festivals, residencies, the release of three well received LPs, some minimal international activity and the generation of absolutely zero income.

He has ( apparently ) reinvented himself as some kind of a folky in Berlin and now at gigs he sings and sits with an acoustic guitar … like some inverse Bob Dylan.
