What will each workshop include:
Evening class:
Welcome tea/ Dinner Demo class /short meditation / Yoga practice.
Following the practice we will have a sit down dinner, sharing the food that has been prepared.

Morning class:
Welcome tea /Breakfast Demo class / Short meditation /Yoga practice
Following the practice we will have a sit down breakfast, sharing the food that has been prepared

The food workshops will be both demonstrative and interactive. Participants will receive a written copy of the recipes while during the class they will be invited to help. Each event will be about 2.5h long. The groups will be small, a maximum of 6 participants, so booking is required.


1st\2nd NOVEMBER – Focus – The immune system

In this first autumn Workshop we will focus on the immune system, asking and exploring how can we prepare our bodies to face the colder months. What does my body need, how can I prepare my physical and mental body for the shorter, dark, and colder days? How can movement and food nourish my physical and mental being?

About the yoga practice
Yoga for the immune system.
We will be doing a sequence of Asanas based on activating the immune system with an extra focus on the Svadhisthana- the sacral chakra.

About the food
Dinner menu:
Roasted pumpkin soup with ginger, garlic and sage
Millet
Pumpkin seed gremolata
Ginger carrot cake

Breakfast menu:
Amaranth porridge | chai spice and hibiscus poached pears | coconut yogurt | cacao nibs

15th/16th NOVEMBER – Focus – The circulatory system

During the second Autumn workshop our focus will shift towards the circulatory system. Listening, exploring and finding warmth inside ourselves, warming our physical bodies with herbs and spices such as rosemary and cardamom.

About the yoga practice
Yoga for the Circulation system.
We will be doing a sequence of Asanas based on improving blood circulation and uplifting our mood while also focusing on Anahata – the heart chakra.

About the food
Dinner Menu
Turmeric Ribollita Soup with cavolo nero, cannellini beans, rosemay and sage
Sourdough bread and homemade buckwheat rosemary and red onion focaccia
Plums and almond cake with nettles

Black rice cardamom and coconut pudding | fresh fruit | toasted coconut flakes

29th\ 30th November – The Root chakra
This last Autumn workshop will focus on grounding ourselves for the arrival of the cold months. The time we will share well be dedicated to feeling our body, being present in the moment and perceiving the space around us, so to be ready to allow ourselves to transition into winter.

About the yoga practice
Hibernation yoga
We will be doing a sequence of Asanas based on warming the body and focusing on the Muladhara – the root chakra.

About the food
Dinner menu:
Cauliflower, celeriac and nettles creamy soup

ABOUT ESME
Esme is a professional vegan chef from Italy. She grew up in a vegetarian household, where connection and time with nature were always present. Esme came into the food industry through her curiosity for human nutrition and health. She has worked in London at Wild Food Cafe as a sous chef and in Ireland with The Happy Pear as a vegan baker.

Esme completed her professional vegan chef training in the Veneto region of Italy. In her cooking, she combines her passion for the culinary world with zero waste ethics, foraged ingredients and the art of fermentation.


ABOUT ELISE
Since my completing my Hatha yoga teacher training in Kerala, India, I have taught in Australia, the UK, Spain and Germany in a variety of settings from large yoga studios to community centres to outdoor beach and park classes. I have worked on international retreats as a Hatha and Yin yoga teacher. There I gave guided mediations based on the chakra system and the practice of mindfulness, as well as workshops on healthy lifestyles, vegan cooking, and mindful art.

I believe that my style of teaching is gentle yet powerful, which makes my classes accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Whether people come to my classes for health, fitness or healing, I am always grateful to share my practice with them.
